The Miraculous Medal is a gift from Heaven: a sacramental which explains the role of the Virgin Mary in salvation history through words and images. Our Lady asked St. Catherine Labouré to have the medals coined and she promised many graces to those who wear them with confidence. They are an effective tool for evangelization and many miracles have been documented by people who have worn them. St. Maximilian Mary Kolbe called them Our Lady's "bullets."
This PDF is formatted for double-sided printing on standard letter-sized paper (8.5" x 11"). After printing, cut the sheet in half to yield two pamphlets. If you're planning to distribute the medals, we recommend ordering them in bulk from St. Paul Street Evangelization together with ball chains. The most efficient method we've found is to purchase small plastic bags in bulk (online or from a craft store) and then place in each bag one Miraculous Medal (already on a chain) and one pamphlet. This way the chains don't get tangled up and it's easy to store them, sort, them, and give them away. Keep several in your pocket or purse at all times, and don't miss an opportunity to give them to people who are open to receiving them!
